Funny Cats Empire. A popular website.

http://icanhascheezburger.com/

What's working, exactly, is a series of viral humor sites intended simply "to make people happy for five minutes a day," as Huh puts it. Huh, 31, a journalist turned dotcom entrepreneur, was born in South Korea and moved to California when he was in his teens. He launched Pet Holdings in 2007 when angel investors helped him buy a new website called I Can Has Cheezburger?, which is a compendium of "Lolcats," laugh-out-loud feline photos captioned in "kitty pidgin," or artfully misspelled imaginings of cats' inner monologues. (The original Lolcat features a fat gray fur ball gazing longingly past the camera under the heading I CAN HAS CHEEZBURGER?) Huh discovered the site, which was started by two Hawaiian bloggers, when they linked to a photo on his personal blog. His site quickly buckled under the traffic, and he e-mailed to complain — then figured there was money to be made in such a zealous online community.

Babbage in paradise.

The Consumer Electronics Show CES 2011 Las Vegas.

For Babbage, the nearest thing to heaven on earth is the Consumer Electronics Show (CES), held at the beginning of every year in Las Vegas. (He realises that not everyone agrees.) The latest instalment offered a wonderful 4G experience: thousands of geeks, gadgets and gizmos, all mixed in with the odd bit of grandstanding by tech-industry bosses such as Microsoft's Steve Ballmer and Verizon's Ivan Seidenberg. The following are some of the highlights that found their way into Babbage's notebook as he worked his way around the vast, hangar-like exhibition halls:
Tablets, tablets everywhere. Apple's iPad.......

5 Ways to stop stressing and become happier.

By John Cloud for TIME Magazine

1) Learn How to Breathe

As Dr. Martin Rossman writes in his new book The Worry Solution, "I never imagined when I went to medical school how much time I was going to spend simply teaching many of my patients how to breathe." (Dr. Rossman is a long-time mind-body specialist who teaches at the University of California.....

2) Exercise — Then Relax

Exercising is one of the best stress-relievers around, so this may sound counterintuitive, but Rossman points out that muscles can often feel tense a day or two after hard workouts. Tension causes lactic acid to accumulate, which contributes to stress. Ways to relieve that stress are relaxation techniques like light yoga...

3) Write Down What You Are Worried About

Psychologists have shown that simply jotting down all your worries (big or small) can help you separate those that are fixable from those that aren't...

4)Track Outcomes of Worries You Can't Do Anything About

See how many of your fears actually come true. You can do this for two weeks or two years. Rossman notes that Robert Leahy, who directs the American Institute for Cognitive Therapy, has found that 85% of worries don't have the bad outcome that the worrier had feared...

5) Clarify Your Goals, or Set New Ones

Don't just go along with the same routine every day, because the same routine will produce the same worries. Changing things up will help you generate new ideas...
